Background/Education
Dawn grew up in Willowick, Ohio, and has always had an interest in arts. She became interested in interior design through the influence of her mother, Susan, who is skilled in home design. Dawn attended Virginia Marti College of Art and Design in Lakewood, Ohio and graduated Cum Laude with an Associate degree in Interior Design with Applied Business.

Experience
While still attending school, Dawn was assigned many clients who inquired about retaining the services of a talented designer to help with personal projects. After graduating she worked briefly for Nu Image Renovations, before having the wonderful opportunity to join the La-z-boy team. Dawn also worked free-lance to build up her reputation as a distinguished interior designer in the area. Dawn has been with La-z-boy Furniture Galleries since October of 2005 and has continued to provide excellent design service to its clientele.

Design Philosophy
Dawn incorporates classic principals of scale, proportion, color and quality to every design. When creating interior design spaces, Dawn works with the client utilizing their ideas with her own, therefore creating a cohesive design that brings function and balance into the room. Dawn believes each project is an expression of her client’s unique personality. Listening to their values and artistic preferences are essential to creating personalized interior projects that are a complement to her clients’ lifestyle.
